THE Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has initiated enforcement action against Donegal County Council due to the lack of proper treatment to the source of the Letterkenny drinking water supply. The information was contained in the EPA’s Provision and Quality of Drinking Water in Ireland for 2010, which was published on Wednesday. According to the report, the source of the Letterkenny public water supply has no treatment other than disinfection.
