Sarah McGoohan (16) from Letterkenny was selected from hundreds of applicants around the country to be part of this year’s cast of 16 who will perform on the Peacock Stage at the famous Abbey Theatre in Dublin produced by the National Association for Youth Drama.
A member of Letterkenny Youth Theatre, Sarah joined her fellow youth theatre members from all over Ireland for rehearsals in Dublin three weeks ago for this year’s production entitled ‘It only ever happens in the movies…’.
After one of her tutors at the youth theatre, Ms Nora Kavanagh, filled in the form for her and sent it off, Sarah was invited to the first workshop based auditions in Sligo at Easter.
