THE principal of St Eunan’s College in Letterkenny has urged the public to highlight the lack of progress made on the school’s long-awaited extension to canvassers ahead of the general election.
Currently educating over 1,000 students, principal Damien McCroary said the school is “bursting at the seams”.
Equipped with only one art room, two woodwork rooms, two technical graphics rooms and two science rooms, alongside an ever-changing and redeveloping Senior Cycle, the school needs upgraded facilities now more than ever.
Taking to social media to make the appeal, Mr McCroary said canvassers from different political parties and independent candidates will be knocking on doors.
“While I acknowledge that you may have issues you want to discuss with them, I would be grateful if you could mention us and our long awaited project,” he said.
