However, Convoy bounced back before the break with Spratt and Eunan Kelly scoring twice in a few minutes to put Convoy 2-1 ahead at half time. Away win for Castlefin
Kerrykeel ’71……………… 1
Castlefin Celtic……………3
Castlefin Celtic left Rabs with all three points and over the course of the game they probably deserved the three points. They started the better and Ronan Tourish put them in front on two minutes when a cross caught the wind and found it’s way into the top corner. Kerrykeel fought back and had a few half chances before Castlefin scored on the counterattack when Dean Kelly nipped onto a long ball and fired into the open net. Kerrykeel to their credit came out second half and pinned Castlefin back and had two cleared off the line and the Fin keeper pulled off a few good saves. With Kerrykeel throwing everything at it they left gaps at the back and Devlin scored with a brilliant effort to seal the points. Shaun Kerr got one back for the ‘71 on 90 minutes with a neat finish. Referee: Liam Mc Laughlin
Draw between the Rovers
Swilly Rovers………….1
Cappry Rovers……….1
A share of the spoils between the two Rovers at a windswept Swilly Park in conditions that did not allow for much good play as both teams battled the elements. Swilly went ahead on seventeen minutes when great work by the energetic Ian Ward saw his cross diverted home in some style by the inrushing Michael Kerr who scored from an acute angle. Kerr had the ball in the net again on 60 minutes but his effort was ruled out for a foul in the build up to the goal. Cappry piled on the pressure in the final quarter and equalised on 86 minutes. A long ball was met by Reece Coyle and as the wind held the ball up in the air his delicate header ended up in the net. A team effort by both teams. Referee: Danny Doherty

Crozier bags the winner
Kildrum Tigers………………2
Fanad United………………..1
Kildrum Tigers advanced to the last 8 of the Ulster Junior Cup after a hard fought victory over Fanad United. Kildrum started brighter and had most of the possession. After a series of corners Kildrum finally took the lead when Keenan Diver powered home from a Shane Mc Ginty corner.
Fanad equalised straight away after great play from Keelin Mc Elwaine who whipped the ball across leading the box leading to an Own-Goal. Kildrum had a few more half chances before half time and Eddie Reilly also rattled the crossbar from 30 yards. The second half was nip and tuck with clear cut chances hard to come by. Fanad hit the bar from range again but Kildrum finally got the winner when Lukas Crozier calmly finished at the back post to send the Tigers into next round.

Home win at Hospital Field
Donegal Town……………. 2
Convoy Arsenal…………….1
Donegal Town came out on top in the Ulster Cup, winning 2–1 at home against a well-drilled Convoy side. It was a quiet first half, with Town edging possession and creating a few half chances, while Convoy looked dangerous on the counter. The visitors did have the ball in the net, but the referee disallowed it for a foul. An uneventful first half ended goalless. Town came out sharper after the break, moving the ball quicker and creating more opportunities. Convoy continued to test the home defence but Town finally broke the deadlock around the hour mark when Stevie Graham rose highest to head home from a corner. Town doubled their lead soon after with Niko doing brilliantly down the left before setting up Ronan Mc Hugh for a tidy finish. Convoy pulled one back late on to make things interesting but Town held firm to book their place in the next round.
Comfortable win for the Gulls
Keadue Rovers……………… 4
Culdaff F.C…………………….0
Keadue Rovers advanced to the next round of the Ulster Junior Cup following a comprehensive win over Culdaff in poor conditions at Central Park. Keadue were on top throughout with a few chances in the opening exchanges before they deservedly went ahead from a Maurice Mc Gee goal. The lead stayed like that until half time despite more chances falling to them prior to the break. At the start of the 2nd half, Keadue made their pressure pay off when Aidan Brennan made it 2-0. Further chances were created in an impressive performance and Peter Mc Gee made it certain when scoring Keadue’s 3rd. Maurice Mc Gee rounded off a fine result for Keadue in hitting their 4th and final effort. A good effort by a young Culdaff team, while for Keadue, a much-needed win and they now advance to the next round. Referee: Packi Coll.
Rovers too good for Clonmany
Letterkenny Rovers…………..3
Clonmany Shamrocks………1
Letterkenny Rovers advanced to the next round of the Ulster Junior Cup with a hard-fought 3–1 victory over Clonmany Shamrocks in testing windy conditions at Leckview Park. The swirling diagonal wind made control and set-pieces unpredictable, but both sides adapted admirably. Rovers took an early lead after nine minutes when Joel Gorman picked out Simon Mc Glynn on the left. The winger drove into the box and finished low and across the keeper. Clonmany equalised on 28 minutes through Jamie Mc Kinney, who struck low across goal from the left edge of the area. The home side restored their advantage before half-time when Joel Gorman’s 41st-minute free-kick from the right was expertly flicked home by Lee Mc Monagle at the near post.
After the interval, Clonmany pressed strongly but found Mark Mc Ginley in commanding form, dealing confidently with a series of high deliveries and corners. Rovers sealed the win on 74 minutes when Shane Mc Namee’s low drive from 25 yards found its way through a crowd and into the net. Despite the conditions, both sides produced an entertaining contest—Rovers showing composure and clinical finishing, while Clonmany worked tirelessly and troubled from set-pieces throughout.
