Letterkenny Regional Cultural Centre extends ‘green’ welcome

LETTERKENNY’S Regional Cultural Centre has launched a unique initiative in a bid to welcome newcomers to the county.

The ‘Shared Roots’ initiative will see a ‘green’ welcome being given to newcomers to the county, with the kind gesture of a small plant from their new Shared Roots shelf.

As moving to a new place can be challenging, the staff at the Regional Cultural Centre have been working hard to extend a green welcome by offering newcomers a small plant from their new ‘Shared Roots’ shelf.

A spokesperson from the Regional Cultural Centre urged newcomers to call in, say hello and pick up a plant.

“If you are a local resident and would like to donate a small plant to our shelf, please get in touch.

Another happy plant going to a new home. This one is going to keep hospital staff members that are new to Letterkenny company at the Hospital Library.
