Letterkenny Pipe Band for international event

LETTERKENNY Pipe Band are off to France to the Highland World Games in two weeks which are taking place in Bressuire, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

The event which takes place on June 15 and 16 is a world first – a Highland Games world championship for mixed national teams.

A total of eight nations will be represented: Germany, Belgium, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and the USA.

This gathering of diverse nationalities promises to showcase a rich tapestry of traditions and skills, uniting participants from around the globe in a celebration of Highland culture.

The invitation extended to the Letterkenny Pipe Band is a testament to their commitment in promotion of Scottish and Irish music.
