Letterkenny native John Bradley dies in Coventry

THE death has taken place in Coventry of John Bradley, formerly from Bomany, Letterkenny.
John had been living in England since moving away from the town in the mid-1960s.

Married to Dolores (née Donoghue), a native of Oldtown, Letterkenny, he was a regular visitor back to the town where he was very well known.
After finishing secondary school, John worked for a time with Johston’s on the Port Road and also Charles Kelly’s in Letterkenny before moving to London.
He later moved to Coventry where he and Dolores raised their family.

His death, two days before his 81st birthday, has been met with deep sadness among those who knew him.
Mass was offered for John in St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny earlier today (Monday).

John’s funeral will be held at St. Osburg’s Church, Coventry on Friday, June 6 at 1.30pm with interment afterwards in Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Garden Cemetery.
Deeply missed by his loving wife Dolores, daughters, Maria (Patrick) and Annie, son, Stephen and grandchild, Louis, brothers, Peter and Liam Bradley, Bomany, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family and friends in Letterkenny and Coventry.
John is predeceased by his parents Johnny and Bridget, brother Eddie, (Termon) and sister, Bridie (Bomany).
