Continuing on from the hugely successful and award winning ‘Calendar Girls The Musical’, the Letterkenny Music and Drama Group are delighted to be holding auditions this week for their next musical production of ‘All Shook Up’.
‘All Shook Up’ uses the music of Elvis Presley to tell the story of Chad, a rock ‘n roll loving, motorbike-riding guy, who arrives in a small town in 1950s America and changes everything and everyone he meets.
This hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumping out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”
Auditions for the show will be held on Tuesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 3 at 7.30pm in Illistrin National School and all are welcome to attend.
We would especially love to welcome any new members to join our group.

For anyone who cannot make these dates next week, we will also have more auditions the following week, as well as dancing auditions, so let us know and we can get you another date.

Letterkenny Music & Drama Group recently won two prestigious awards at the Associations of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) awards in Killarney for their most recent production of ‘Calendar Girls The Musical’ while other hit musicals performed by the group over the years include ‘Sister Act’, ‘Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story’, ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘Hairspray’.
