A LETTERKENNY man has pleaded guilty to a charge of damaging a motor vehicle in the town.
Paddy Sweeney, with an address at Gort na Greine, appeared at Tuesday’s sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court, where he admitted a charge of criminal damage at Long Lane, Letterkenny. The offence, involving damage to a Volkswagen Golf, took place on March 7, 2024.
Defence counsel, Sean McGee, sought a Probation and Welfare report. His client, he said, had no previous convictions.

Adjourning the case, Judge John Aylmer agreed to the report and the determination of suitability for a community service order.
