Letterkenny man named on Irish U18 Schools rugby team

Conor McMenamin, a student at Colaiste Ailigh, has been included in the Ireland U18 Schools team to play Wales at Cardiff Arms Park on Wednesday afternoon, Kick-off: 2.30pm
Team manager Peter Smyth has rotated his squad following the three point win over Italy U18 on Saturday.

David McCann assumes the captain’s armband in a much changed pack. Conor Morrissey, Padraig McCarthy and Charlie Ward come into the front row with Conor McMenamin paired with Cian Prendergast in the second row. Sean O’Brien and Anthony Ryan fill the flank positions.

A new halfback pairing of Ben Murphy and Dylan Prendergast get the nod from the off with Ben Power getting a run at 13 and Chris Cosgrove filling the number 15 shirt.

The final game of the series sees Ireland U18 Schools take on Scotland U18 in Cardiff on Sunday.
