A LETTERKENNY man has been fined €250 after being found to have a quantity of cocaine in his possession.
James Duncan, with an address at Cnoc Ard Apartments, appeared at the recent sitting of Falcarragh District Court after being charged with the offence on March 8, 2025.
Gardai stopped the defendant’s vehicle at the Clanree Hotel and spoke to the driver.

Following a search, they discovered a small bag of white powder which was later analysed as cocaine.
The drug was valued at €70 with the defendant stating that it was for his own use.
Defending solicitor, Patsy Gallagher said his client fully accepted the charge and was cooperative with the Gardai when questioned.
Judge Emile Daly imposed a fine of €250.
