ON Friday July 5, the Letterkenny Community Heritage Group will host a night for Jim Sheridan in Dillons Hotel at 8pm.
The night will remember the legendary captain, who famously lifted the FAI Cup trophy back in 1974.
The whole team will be remembered following the 50th anniversary of the biggest day of the club’s history as they defeated St Patrick’s Athletic 3-1 in Dalymount Park, only five years after joining the league.
