Has Letterkenny got talent?

AUDITIONS for one of the UK’s biggest talent shows will be held in Letterkenny next week.

Donegal is the fourth place in the country to be confirmed as an audition location, as well as Derry, Belfast and Dublin.

It is understood that none of the four main judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon will be in town to see the local talent, however auditionees will have every chance to meet them at later stages – if they get through.

A spokesperson from the hit ITV show said they have had a massive amount of interest in the Letterkenny auditions with people travelling from as far as Roscommon and Sligo to perform.

As always, producers have said they are on the hunt for top singers and dancers, as well as acts that are unusual, entertaining and something a bit different than everything else.

The auditions will be staged over two hours, and hopefuls are reminded that the judges will only be able to see a limited number of performances.

Audtions will be held at Arena 7, Letterkenny from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, November 9.
