Letterkenny gardaí raise funds through successful Movember challenge

A NUMBER of garda members from the Letterkenny Garda Station raised an outstanding €2,237 by participating in Movember last month.

The challenge saw the group raise awareness, and funds, for men’s health including prostate and testicular cancer, and mental health.

The local garda members took part in the challenge as part of the Frontline Mo-Bros team, uniting colleagues from An Garda Síochána, the Defence Forces, Fire and Rescue, EMS, and other voluntary services in support of men’s health.

The combined total for the Frontline Mo-Bros team was over €36,000.
