John F. Loughrey Financial Services was acquired by Fairstone Ireland in November of last year.
Last week marked the rebrand of the company to bring it in line with the same look and feel as the other Fairstone offices in Ireland. Fairstone Letterkenny, as the local office will be called, continues it’s long-standing tradition of providing trusted, impartial financial advice to clients across Donegal and the Northwest.
Prior to the take-over, John F. Loughrey Financial Services celebrated 40 years in business and had grown into the largest brokerage in the Northwest. The company was founded by John Loughrey and was more recently led by his daughter Lisa Loughrey who will stay on to manage Fairstone Letterkenny.
Speaking with Lisa she explained that this is a progressive move for the company. The col mpliance and regulation functions in the industry have become so demanding that becoming part of a larger organisation will reduce the strain on the company and give them more time and freedom to serve clients, which is what they consider to be the most important aspect of the job.
Lisa further advised that all of the staff are remaining and the company will continue to operate out of the same premises in the iconic Crossview House in the heart of Letterkenny. The building has been rebranded with the purple Fairstone sign and colours so we will see a new look on the Main Street!
The dedicated team at Fairstone Letterkenny offer a comprehensive range of services, including financial and retirement planning, investment advice, and protection solutions. They are committed to delivering personalised financial solutions that evolve with your needs, supporting your journey toward long-term financial security and prosperity.
John F. Loughrey’s integration into Fairstone Ireland signifies a renewed commitment to providing clear, impartial and high-quality financial advice. Whether you are planning for retirement, investing for the future, or seeking a trusted financial advisor in Donegal, Fairstone Letterkenny is here to support you every step of the way.
