Letterkenny Cycling Club providing fun and social exercise

CYCLING remains very popular in Ireland and the lockdown has managed to increase interest.

Letterkenny Cycling Club was formed eight years ago, and has grown steadily since then into a strong organisation.

They cater for anyone who wants to compete in fast races and time trials, but also host people who just want to go for a leisurely cycle and stay fit.

Majella McBride is the current Chairperson of Letterkenny Cycling Club and she says the ethos of the club remains the same.

“The idea was to facilitate group training and fun for people who wanted to exercise and get fit.”
