Letterkenny Community Centre issues warning about fake event

The Letterkenny Community Centre has issued an important notice regarding a false event that has been circulating online.

The event in question, advertised as a “Christmas Drive-In Movies” experience at the centre, has been confirmed as fraudulent and not organised by the facility.

In a statement on Facebook, Lewis Toye, Event Organiser at Letterkenny Community Centre, emphasised that the centre has no affiliation with the event.

“Please be advised that this event is not organized by us and is not taking place at our venue,” Toye explained.

The centre urges the public to disregard any advertisements or promotions for the drive-in movie event, as they are entirely misleading.

Anyone with questions or concerns is encouraged to reach out to the community centre directly through official channels.

The centre apologised for any confusion caused by the misinformation and is working to ensure the public remains aware.
