THE vibrant community of Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter are excited to announce the return of its much anticipated annual Street Feast, set to take place on Sunday, May 26.
This event promises a day filled with food, fun and entertainment for all ages, running from 1pm to 4pm on the Church Lane.
The historic area behind Church Street Cycles in Letterkenny will be transformed with street decorations, dining tables and a host of street food for the unique event.
Throughout the afternoon, there will be games, food, live music and a DJ.
Local cafes and restaurants in the town are supporting the event through sponsorship of tasty dishes.
“Our Street Feast is a great excuse to eat good food, meet new people and have lots of fun,” a spokesperson said.
“It’s all about community, diversity and bringing people together, so if you love to cook or play music we’d love everyone to join in the fun, bring a dish too or perform in what’s sure to be one of the great outdoor parties of the Summer.
“We certainly hope that many new people who are now living in Letterkenny will be able to join us,” the spokesperson concluded.
The Cathedral Quarter are extremely grateful to the volunteers from Letterkenny Tidy Towns who helped to get the area prepared for this very special occasion by cleaning up the area.
