FORMER county player John Haran believes it would be a ‘poisoned chalice’ if Donegal were to reach the Division 1 Final this weekend.
Donegal are safe in the top flight for another season and a win over Mayo in Castlebar could see them progress through to the National Football League Final on Sunday week.
That decider comes just seven days before Donegal’s Ulster Championship Preliminary Round tie with Derry.
