LAVERTY, Isabel

LAVERTY – The death has taken place of Isabel Laverty, Drumboe, Stranorlar, peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar under the care of their wonderful staff and surrounded by her loving family.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, son’s Hugh (Helen) Scotland and Michael (Rosaleen) Scotland, daughters Ellen (Alan) Meenvoy and Rosemary Dooish, her thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Paddy (2016), brothers Patrick, John, Laurence, Hugh, Charlie and sisters Maggie, Sarah and Annie. She will be deeply and sincerely missed by her loving daughters, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Isabel’s remains will be reposing at her home from 6 pm to 10 pm on Saturday and from 11 am to 10 pm Sunday, removal from there on Monday morning at 10.20 am for Mass of the Resurrection at Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar for 11 am, burial afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery, Stranorlar.

Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the Parish webcam at https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired in memory of Isabel to Patients’ Comfort Fund, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar, c/o Martin McGowan at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar, or any family member.
