Deputy Gallagher said Earagail Arts Festival presents a highly-acclaimed annual cultural celebration bringing together international and domestic artists in some of the most breathtakingly beautiful locations in the world.
“I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to launch this year’s festival,” he said.
“From July 12 – 26 the county will be buzzing and the 40,000 that come here will have a most enjoyable and exciting couple of weeks.”

With a family-orientated, participatory and engaging programme from the Gaeltacht islands off the West Donegal coast to East Donegal and the Inishowen peninsula, and Donegal Town for the very first time, Earagail Arts Festival has something for all ages and backgrounds.
The festival features an expanded programme of circus, street arts performances and camps as part of its annual Wild Atlantic Weekends, returning to Castlefin, as well as a brand new location in Gaoth Dobhair, at Ionad Cois Locha in Dunlewey.
In its bid to make the arts more accessible for everyone, the festival continues to keep its prices as low as possible and offers discounts when it can!
Earagail Arts Festival is kindly supported by Donegal County Council, The Arts Council An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Wild Atlantic Way. Visit eaf.ie for more information and bookings.
