THERE have been 115 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland today, bringing the total number of cases here to 24,506. It is the first time in almost a week that the number of new cases has exceeded one hundred.
There have been 11 Covid-19 related deaths reported today. The total number of deaths now stands at 1,592
It follows confirmation that over ninety per cent (almost 92pc) of Covid-19 deaths were among the Over 65 age group up to Friday last, May 15.
