Late Late Toy Show looking for Donegal Representatives

It’s one of the most magical nights of the year and the countdown has begun to The Late Late Toy Show 2024.

Airing on December 6th, it’s not long until Ireland’s favourite Christmas tradition kicks off, but already plans are being put in place for another memorable show with plenty of exciting twists.

Kids from Donegal have been asked to apply to the show to be part of the first-ever Late Late Toy Show County Parade! All 32 counties will be on screen at once, making this a historic moment – and giving children from every corner of the country a chance to be part of the fun.

The Late Late Toy Show producers have said: “We’re looking for children who are passionate about their county – it’s not about being the best singer or the best dancer – it’s about having county pride in buckets.”

Host of The Late Late Toy Show, Patrick Kielty said: “The inaugural Toy Show County Parade sounds to me like it could be the best craic of the night – 32 counties, 32 kids, live in studio on the biggest TV night of the year – I mean what could possibly go wrong?”

Last year Kielty earned the title of most watched television programme in Ireland for his Toy Show debut. All eyes will be on the Late Late team to see if they can do it again.

Show off your pride for Donegal by taking part in a performance or demonstrating the latest toys. Applications can be found on the RTE.ie with the deadline for entries on Wednesday, October 2nd.
