'Late Late' end to week of celebration

BY CHRIS MCNULTY
THERE’LL be a ‘Late Late’ end to what has been a late, late week for All-Ireland Champions Donegal tonight.
Led by team manager Jim McGuinness and captain Michael Murphy, the victorious squad are guests on the Late Late Show, hosted by Ryan Tubridy on RTE 1.
Five days on from their 2-11 to 0-13 win over Mayo that captured the Sam Maguire for only the second time in the county’s history, the panel will be the first guests on the show.
McGuinness and his squad have burned the midnight oil all week with flying visits to all corners of Donegal taking them into the wee hours.
Their tour of Donegal was set to culminate in the early hours of this morning with a visit to the home club of captain Murphy in Glenswilly.
A planned visit to Glenswilly was called off on Tuesday night as the tour had already gone too late.
