Glenfin 1-14 Termon 1-14
A last gasp goal from Dáire Quigley earned Glenfin a draw against a Termon side who drop their first points of the season at Páirc Taobhoige.
The hosts had a bright start with Shaun Ward to the fore and he kicked six of their eight first half scores, two coming from outside the arc, as they led by 0-8 to 0-4 at the break.
Ryan McFadden had a couple of scores for Termon and he added after the restart, while a Dáire McDaid two-pointer levelled the game up.
McDaid then fired in a goal and with ten minutes to go, Caolan McDaid’s men were five to the good.
Daniel Marley, Ward (free) and Odhran McGlynn kicked scores for Glenfin but when Enda McCormick kicked a free on 58 minutes, there was still four in it.
Ward left a goal in it and Glenfin hung a few high balls in that were cleared, until Odhran O’Connor’s kick dropped in and substitute Quigley was there to volley in with four minutes of added time played as the final whistle sounded straight after the kick out.
