Last-gasp heartache for Donegal U20s against Derry

Donegal 0-14 Derry 1-12

There was devastation for the Donegal Under 20s tonight as they were beaten by Derry by a last-gasp point in the Ulster semi-final.

SP Barrett’s Donegal played very well in the first half and led by 0-7 to 0-4 at half-time.

However, Derry took over in the second half and they moved four ahead after a goal from Oisin Doherty.

Donegal fought back and Kevin Lynch looked to have sent the game to extra-time.

However, the referee allowed the play to continue and Ryan McNicholl kicked the winner 19 seconds after the three minutes of allocated time.

Derry will face Tyrone in the final next week.
