Michael Langan has been nominated for the GAA.ie Player of the Week award due to his display in the opening round of the National Football League.
The St Michael’s clubman produced a Man of the Match display against Dublin at Croke Park on Saturday evening, helping Donegal to seal the two points in their first league outing.
Langan kicked six points for his side in this encounter, including two fantastic efforts from outside of the arc.

The Donegal midfielder is one of three players nominated for the award alongside Tomas Kennedy of Kerry and Armagh’s Conor Turbitt.
2025 Young Player of the Year Finnbarr Roarty also impressed in his first start of the campaign at GAA Headquarters on Saturday which saw him included in the GAA Team of the Week.
