A LANDMARK site at the entrance to Ramelton beside the ‘cup and saucer junction ’ has hit the market for €500,000.
A 1.6-acre site at the entrance to Ramelton is new to the market with huge potential for commercial or residential development, subject to planning permission.
The site, which can be accessed from two main roads, hit the market last week with a guide price of around €500,000.
The site is for sale with Glen Estates and the estate agents has already received a inquiries from interested parties.
Director of Glen Estates Gareth McLarnon said this was a landmark site at the entrance to the town with great potential for a developer.
“It would be great to see this site developed for the town and it would suit a residential or commercial build.
“There is definitely a shortage of housing in Ramelton while there is also a need for commercial developments so this site has great potential.
“It is a great location bounded by two roads with great viability a lot of passing traffic at all times of the day,” said Mr McLarnon.
Ramelton is currently going through a period of change with many new projects being carried out.
Mr McLarnon believes now is the perfect time for an investor to develop this prime site.
“The town of Ramelton is seeing a bit of growth at the minute so the development of this site could not come at a better time and it would really benefit the area.
“The Quays are being redeveloped, a couple of commercial businesses have changed hands, the hotel has changed hands and a new pub has opened at the Bridge End.
“There is a lot happening.
“Ramelton is flying at the minute so it would be great to see this site sold and developed,” said Mr McLarnon.
