Landmark building sold in Twin Towns

McClays Corner, Stranorlar.

THE sale of one of the best known commercial properties in Donegal has been agreed in recent days.
McClay’s Corner in the centre of Stranorlar town boasts eight large display windows fronting onto one of the best trading positions in the Twin Towns.
Speaking to the Donegal News, Thursday, Mr Boyd Robinson of Charlie Robinson Auctioneers confirmed that the property had been sold. He declined to reveal the sale price or name the new owner.
“It’s an undisclosed sum and the new owner doesn’t want to be named just yet,” Mr Robinson said.
McClay’s Corner is a prime location for any commercial unit or business fronting onto the Stranorlar to Letterkenny Road and the town’s Main Street. Inside there is a retail area of 5,200 sq ft spread over two floors with a house and yard to the rear.
