A SCHOOL principal has voiced fears that the lack of housing development in some areas of Donegal is putting the future of her own rural school and others in jeopardy as enrolment numbers decline.
Ursula O’Connor is the principal of Stramore National School in Glendowan.

She told the Donegal News there are currently 69 pupils on her school roll, a drop of 17 pupils from this time last year.
The decrease in pupil numbers will see the school lose a teacher next year.
