Karl Lacey will take charge of the Kilcoo senior footballers once again in 2024.
The 2012 Footballer of the Year took over as the Kilcoo manager this year and led them to the Down senior county title.
They defeated Derrygonnelly in the Ulster Championship Preliminary Round, but then lost by a point against Scotstown.
It’s quite a commute for the Donegal Town man but it is understood that he made a positive impression on the Kilcoo players.
Lacey’s brother-in-law Barry Dunnion was also on the line for Kilcoo during the championship and is expected to stay on in his role.
A club statement read: “Eoghan Rua Cill Chua are delighted to announce that manager Karl Lacey and his backroom team will look after our senior side in 2024.”
