Karl Lacey has been confirmed as the new Donegal minor football manager.
The 2012 Footballer of the Year replaces Barry Ward, who was in charge of the minor side for two seasons.
Lacey was appointed as County Performance Lead to Donegal’s Academy back in March and was at the helm of the Donegal U16 football side in 2025.
Jim McGuinness will stay on for a third year as Donegal senior football team manager, while Gary Boyle will lead the U20 footballers once again next term.
Mickey McCann is one of the longest serving intercounty managers in Ireland. He has been the Donegal senior hurling boss since 2018 and will be once again next season.
Adie Gaffey will manage the Donegal U20 hurlers while Lorcan O’Toole will be calling the shots for the Donegal minor hurlers.
