A ‘kolour run’ in memory of Kym Harley will be held in Ballybofey this weekend.
The event in aid of local charities will start at the Shopping Centre Car Park beside McElhinneys at 2pm today.
The annual fundraiser was established following the tragic death of 19 year old Kym Harley, who died in a collision in Dreenan in October 2014.
Kym was the daughter of local councillor and the current Cathaoirleach of the Donegal County Council, Martin Harley.
Kym’s Kolour Fun Run is back bigger and brighter than before. Participants are encouraged to wear bright colours, a white t-shirt and multi coloured wigs, and because it is a fun run the route can be walked, skipped, ran, whatever you fancy.
There will be two routes on the day, a 5k route, and a shorter route for those with small children.
“Our aim for this event is to bring some colour, fun, and life to Ballybofey, just what Kym radiated.”
