Kilmacrennan ‘disgusted’ with damage at club facilities

Kilmacrennan Schoolboys/girls Football League have been left ‘disgusted’ following a vandalism attack on their clubhouse at Lurgy Park.
Vandals attacked the roof and changing rooms at the clubs pitch and caused significant damage.
The club added that they will face massive costs for repairs and urge the public to inform the club if they see anything unruly near the ground in the future.
A statement read: “It is with huge disappointment that we have to post this message. We usually use this page for match reports and to show photos of our fantastic players.
“Unfortunately, the photos that follow this post are of a very different kind. We were disgusted and disappointed to see the level of vandalism done at the changing rooms of our pitch. This pitch has been the heart of the club for a huge number of years and it is disgraceful that so much damage has been done.
“This will come as a massive cost to the club to try and fix this, but even more so, it is an accident waiting to happen.
“We ask that all members of the club, and the public be extra vigilant around the pitch area and inform any club member if you see any unruly behaviour.”
