A KILLYGORDON man was acquitted of a serious assault by a jury in the Circuit Court sitting in Letterkenny today (Friday).
Shane McHugh of Ballinacor, Crossroads denied assaulting James Finley junior outside Jackson’s Hotel in Ballybofey on September 26, 2010.
The jury comprised of six males and six females deliberated for less than an hour before agreeing unanimously that Shane McHugh was not guilty.
