Killybegs Coast Guard pays special  tribute to crew member ahead of wedding

KILLYBEGS Coast Guard has paid a heart touching tribute to one of their crew members who is due to get married tomorrow.
On Saturday September 9 2023, Eoghan Dorrian will marry his fíance Breda.
In a tribute to the groom, Killybegs Coast Guard charted out and tracked the letters A and B with a love heart on Fintra Bay, where the couple got engaged.
A spokesperson for the Coastguard said, “We in the Killybegs Coast Guard Unit will be off duty as we will be otherwise engaged in extending our heartiest congratulations to one of our own on this his Wedding Day.
“Eoghan Dorrian has been a member of KCG for almost 13 years now, Eoghan joined our team on 10th day of October 2010 – all the 10’s.
“Eoghan, to us you are a gentleman, you are hard working, patient, kind, selfless, we could go on and on but most of all Eoghan you are a great friend and we would like to wish yourself, Breda and little Daithí a life time of love and health and happiness on your Wedding Day.
“We would also like to share with you a small tribute to Eoghan that our boat crew charted out and tracked on Fintra Bay, just below the Ring of Largy viewing point where Eoghan and Breda got engaged.”
