Killybegs Coast Guard attended incident at Glenlough Bay

The Killybegs Coast Guard team were tasked at 9:45am on Sunday morning to rescue a casualty stranded on the beach in Glenlough Bay, near Port.
Following a report of an incident, the team and Rescue 118 made their way to the area.
The casualty was airlifted by Rescue 118 from the beach without any injuries and was returned to Port car park.
A spokesperson for the Coast Guard said, “We wish to thank Rescue 118 for their assistance.
“If you see somebody in trouble on the water or on the coast dial 112 or use marine VHF channel 16, and ask for the Coast Guard.”
