Kilcar 0-13 St Eunan’s 1-8

KILCAR claimed the Under 21 ‘A’ championship title with a two-point win over a below-par St Eunan’s at MacCumhaill Park tonight.

John McNulty’s team were excellent and they led by seven points to five at the break and soon extended their advanatage.

Darragh McWalters’ goal ten minutes from the end of time brought St Eunan’s back into the mix, but points from Matthew McClean and Conor Doherty left Kilcar three ahead going into injury-time.

David Tyrrell drove a late free over the bar and the Towney men held on to win their sixth under 21 title.
