Donegal’s opening National Football League game against Kerry which was due to be played on Sunday has been postponed.
The game at Fitzgerald Stadium in Tralee was to played on Sunday afternoon with a large number of Donegal supporters planning to make the long trip for the game.
However, after Friday’s severe storms, more bad weather is expected over the coming hours, and the decision was taken on Saturday morning to postpone the fixture.
A decision on a new date for the game is likely to be made on Monday.
Meanwhile the ladies league fixture between Clare and Donegal in the National Football League Division Two on Sunday has been moved to Clarecastle GAA club.
