KENNEDY, Eileen (née McDermott) – Ernedale Heights, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, peacefully at the Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit. Pre-deceased by her father Terry, mother Kathleen; brother Terence; sister Mary Rose.
Eileen will be forever remembered by her husband Ted; children Trisha (Chris), Deirdre (Paul), Christopher (Catherine, RIP), Claire (Sean) and Gary (Marina). She was much loved by her grandchildren Darren, Leigh, Bryan, Kealan, Evie, Hazel, Marcella, Katie, Greg, Lynsey, Jack, Rebecca, Conor and Odhran; great grandchildren, Ciaran, Michael, Teddy, Alex, Emmet, Isla, Ava, Lewis, Bobby and Jamie; sadly missed by her sisters Molly Ferguson (Michael), Belleek and Ester Hanley (Michael, RIP), Cork.
Reposing at her late residence on Tuesday from 12 noon to 9 pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.15 am to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to the Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit, c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors or any family member.
