Striker Ruairi Keating has returned to Finn Park this week as Ollie Horgan bids to keep his team in the top flight, but the good news for the manager has been offset by a string of injuries to key personnel.

Midfielder Gareth Harkin and defender Ciaran Coll are just two of the players set to miss tonight’s vital league game and defender Packie Mailey is also set to miss the game with a calf injury.

Adam Hanlon and Dave Scully are also both doubts as is Barry Molloy.

“The league will get even more competitive from now on because every club will be fighting tooth and nail to secure highest possible position – especially those of us who are looking to secure our premier status. Ruairi did well here previously and will be another string to our bow. Injuries and suspensions are always a factor so it’s vital we have options and cover for every position,” Horgan said this week.

Harps face Galway United at Finn Park with an 8pm kick off on Friday night.
