TWO juveniles that were arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a business premises in Rathmullan have been released without charge.
At approximately 7pm on Thursday one male entered the premises armed with a knife and threatened staff.
In a follow up search, Gardaí arrested two juveniles and recovered the money and weapon. Both males were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Northern region and have since been released without charge.
“A file will now be prepared for the Garda Youth Diversion Office. Investigations ongoing,” said a Garda spokesperson.
