Joe Coll makes brave decision to leave Man Utd

By Aidan O’Donnell
JOE Coll’s career at Manchester United might have come to an end this week but the young man from Meenlaragh is hopeful of joining another cross-channel club before the summer is out.

Had he remained at the Old Trafford club he would’ve been too old to play for the Academy team this year and, with a long line of goalkeepers in the pecking order in front of him for the Reserves, the thought of not playing forced him to make what he describes himself as a ‘gamble’.
