A LARGE national company which sells branded products at discounted prices is expected to open an outlet on the outskirts of Letterkenny over the summer months.
It follows confirmation that a long-term lease has been agreed for the former McMahons Builders Providers store, Middle Road, Ballyraine.
Speaking to the Donegal News on Friday, Mr Henry McGahey, DNG Boyce Gallagher, confirmed that a long-term lease had been agreed with the, as yet, un-named company.
“It’s great news all round that big companies are once again being attracted to open outlets in Letterkenny,” Mr McGahey said.
According to the DNG Boyce Gallagher web-site the premises was available to lease from €125,000 annually.
“The unit is situated on an approximate three acre site with ample car parking surrounding. The unit has numerous office spaces throughout and has a state of the art alarm system present. The building can be segmented into smaller letting areas also from 2,500sq. ft.,” the website reads.
It’s almost four years (September 2012) since McMahons, one of Donegal’s biggest building suppliers at the time, ceased its operation in Letterkenny.
The company had previously traded as James Johnston and Sons but was bought out by the McMahon Group in more recent times.
