‘Job done’ for champions Swilly Rovers

The 2023/24 season will see the return of Premier Division football at Swilly Park after a near four decade hiatus.

That stretch of nearly 40 years was due to the Ramelton side’s involvement in the Ulster Senior League, but in 2019 they returned to the Junior ranks, and after two promotions in three seasons, Swilly Rovers will be testing their mettle in the Premier Division once again.

Following Sunday’s 1-0 win over Letterkenny Rovers, Swilly joint-manager Paul Callan couldn’t hide his joy and started with just two simple words.
