The Aodh Ruadh club have announced that this year’s Hall of Fame Award will be presented this Saturday evening at Dorrian’s Hotel at their Annual Awards Night to Jim Kane in recognition of a lifetime contribution to Gaelic Games in Ballyshannon.
Jim has been involved in coaching and management of Football Teams at all grades. Jim, notably guided Ballyshannon to the All-Ireland Community Games Boys Football title in 1990 and steered a team to the All-Ireland Féile Finals in 1994.
He has served in administrative roles at Bord na nÓg and Club Executive levels throughout the years.
Jim has always been to the forefront when its helping on match days, colouring the town with bunting and being a great supporter of all teams across all codes.
