James Daly has been confirmed as the new manager of the Donegal ladies.
The Armagh native takes over from John McNulty as the new boss after Kilcar native McNulty resigned after a year in charge.
A statement from the Donegal LGFA said: “James Daly of Armagh has been at the helm of many a ladies Gaelic team throughout the years, including his native Dromintee. James has a wealth of experience and in the past his teams have included the likes of Clann Eireann, Queens University, Longford, Cavan, Fermanagh, Armagh.
“The additional members of the Donegal senior management backroom team will be confirmed in due course.
“Donegal will begin their LIDL National Football League campaign with an away fixture versus Clare on Sunday 26th of January.
“Very best of luck to James and our ladies in the year ahead.”
