While good King Richard is away his wicked brother John (played by Jack Quinn from Conal Gallen’s A Bit On The Side) plans to capture and kill the Kings children so that he can claim the throne for himself.

To this end he enlists the greedy Sheriff of Nottingham (Eugene McGee) and his two idiot henchmen Riff and Raff – played by Rory Farrell and A Bit On The Side’s Paddy McMenamin – to do his dirty work for him.

This of course turns out to be his big hilarious mistake. However, in the true tradition of panto nothing ever goes quite to plan.

The Sheriff has a son who dreams of being a famous footballer but ends up joining Robin Hood’s gang instead.

Will faithful Nurse Neuralgia (played by Panto favourite Ken Lillis) and the gang, aided by Robin Hood (Margaret O’Neill) and his Merry Men (including Dean Gillespie as Friar Tuck and Cathal Patten as Little John) be able to save the Babes In The Wood?

Packed full of music and laughter, this community production features a huge cast of well known local actors.
