GAOTH Dobhair and Naomh Conaill will meet for a third time in the Donegal SFC final tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8pm in MacCumhaill Park.
Gaoth Dobhair played Naomh Conaill twice at the business end of the season last year, and now they will meet for a third time in championship ball in 2019.
There is huge familiarity between the teams and there are no more tricks left up the sleeve.
“I suppose there is a bit of that in it alright,” said Gaoth Dobhiar manager, Mervyn O’Donnell.
“It’s difficult to get the bodies right for Wednesday again and obviously nobody can really train. It’s all about recovery now.
“We are a youngish enough panel and obviously there are a few older lads mixed in through it. The engine room is fairly youthful so you would like to think that they will recover fairly quickly.
“It’s a bit of a disruption for your lads in Dublin and stuff like that. It’s difficult for lads in teaching jobs and stuff like that so it’s difficult for them, but it’s what you have to do now to try and get finality on the thing.”
