Irish comedy legend at An Grianán

THE very funny Ardal O’Hanlon bring his own brand of superb stand up comedy to An Grianán Theatre on Thursday, May 10 at 8pm.

He became one of the most sought after comedians with regular sell out tours in UK, USA and Australia and has released two Top Ten Stand up DVD’s. Ardal played the much loved Father Dougal in Father Ted.

The show was acclaimed as the funniest program of its time, this being confirmed by winning a BAFTA for the Best Comedy Series and Ardal being nominated for Best Comedy Performance.

Father Ted was one of the funniest shows on TV in the 90s. Ardal appeared in 25 episodes made between 21st of April until 1st May 1998 Ardal will present a spellbinding fusion of off beat stories and confident polished material combine to make him stand up act a hilarious journey touched with life enhancing observations and unexpected twists. Sheer originality and talent ensure that there is no other performer like him.

Jack L

Also appearing at An Grianán is the critically respected and well- known solo artist Jack L who is returning on Friday, May 11 at 8pm.

ack L has sold many albums and concert tickets throughout Ireland, he is returning to theatre to take the audience by storm with his collection of new and old material.Jack L is penchant for conjuring up the smoky pop of icons such as Jacques Brel, Tom Waits and Scott Walker.
